A new program that aims to unite the hundreds of companies in the state involved in the aerospace and defense industry will launch next week.

The New Hampshire Aerospace and Defense Export Consortium will focus on boosting sales in an increasing competitive global market, said Tina Kasim, program manager for the New Hampshire International Trade Resource Center at the Division of Economic Development.

About 300 companies around the state produce parts for the industries.

Two presentations are set for March: 10 am, March 5, at Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth and 1 pm, March 7, at the Department of Resources and Economic Development, Concord.
