'Aggressive Duck' on the Loose in Londonderry

The following are excerpts from the Londonderry police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

 

Saturday, Dec. 29

  • 11:40 a.m.: Police received a report of a bad patch of ice on Kendall Pond Road up to Coventry Lane.
  • 12:55 p.m.: Police received a report of two counterfeit bills on Mohawk Drive.
  • 2:06 p.m.: A caller reported a stuck furniture truck on Wiley Hill Road. The driver was able to get the truck out without incident.
  • 4:42 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injury on Nashua Road.
  • 5:57 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle off the road on Gilcreast Road.
  • 5:59 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle off the road on Rockingham Road.
  • 6:01 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Gilcreast Road.
  • 6:28 p.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injury on Stonehenge Road.
  • 9:18 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle off the road on Rockingham Road.
  • 11:20 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle that slid off the road on Rockingham Road.

Sunday, Dec. 30

  • 3:38 a.m.: Police received a report of a motor vehicle accident with no injury on Rockingham Road.
  • 8:55 a.m.: Police received a report of a car into a pole on Litchfield Road.
  • 3:23 p.m.: A caller on Hall Road reported an aggressive duck under her car. She said it kept quacking and coming after her.
  • 6:36 p.m.: Police received a report of a vehicle into a snowbank on Hardy Road.
