How to Dispose of Your Christmas Tree in Londonderry

The town does not offer curbside pickup of trees, but there are several other options.

Christmas is over, and the New Year is upon us. Now what do do with your dried out Christmas tree?

The Town of Londonderry does not pick up Christmas trees curbside, but the Boy Scouts will hold a tree bonfire on Jan. 5 at Mack's Apples. Residents can bring their trees to Mack's Apples from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day, and the bonfire starts at dusk.

M-R Wood Recycling in Londonderry is also open in January on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Anyone interested in dropping off a tree should call them at 603-425-0300.

Finally, residents can always wait until the town's drop-off center re-opens for the season in April.
