Tickets are now available for the annual event
DERRY, NH – The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program announced today that their 68th Annual Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Competition will take place from May 1st – May 3rd at the Stockbridge Theatre located within Pinkerton Academy. Sports Director at WMUR-TV Jamie Staton and Miss New Hampshire 2013 Samantha Russo will emcee the event which features 28 outstanding young women from across the state competing for the title of Miss New Hampshire 2014. The winner will receive at least $13,000 in scholarships, represent the state at ceremonial functions and promote her personal platform statewide.
“As the leading scholarship provider to young women in the state, we are looking forward to the crowning of a new Miss New Hampshire,” says Brenda Keith, President of the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program. “Our organization awards thousands of dollars to women excelling in scholastic achievement, performing arts, healthy living, leadership and community involvement. These scholarships serve to further our participants’ education so they can continue to give back to the communities where they volunteer, work and live.”

Tickets can be purchased for the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Competition and After Party Gala at the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program Office located at 20 East Broadway, 2nd Floor, Derry, NH or by calling (603)437-9027. The preliminary competitions on May 1st and 2nd begin at 7 PM and tickets are $10.00. Saturday’s final competition is at 6 PM and tickets range from $35.00 to $50.00.
Guests can also celebrate with the newly crowned Miss New Hampshire 2014 and all the contestants at the Center of New Hampshire-Radisson Hotel in Manchester for the After Party Gala. Tickets are $40.00 each.

About the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program
The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Organization is a New Hampshire nonprofit corporation and is the state chapter of the Miss America Organization. The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program helps to empower young women by awarding scholarship money to those competing for the titles of “Miss New Hampshire,” “Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen,” and various local titles through their network of local chapters, who demonstrate, in spirited competitions, a level of excellence in the areas of scholastic achievement, performing arts, healthy living, leadership and community involvement.
