Check Out Who's Playing at Tupelo!

The Londonderry music hall announced two new acts this week.

We have TWO new shows to announce this week!

November 24 ATLANTA RYHTHM SECTIONThe Atlanta Rhythm Section–ARS – in the annals of rock and roll, where do they fit? They put out 15 albums of excellent original material, and consistently put on entertaining live shows-both of which helped establish a broad if not huge fan base. They had some big hits and have been a major player in the Southern Rock scene. But is that the whole story? In some circles, maybe. But for those who've really gotten to know their music over the years, there's a lot more to the story. ARS was paired with contemporaries Lynyrd Skynyrd as the successors to the Allman Brothers – carrying the mantle of "Southern Rock" in the late 70s. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, it may have made sense at the time but performing songs that were more musically diverse and having hits that had a softer pop sounds than the "Southern Rock" label was a mixed blessing.

December 13 and 14 CARBON LEAFAs Carbon Leaf approaches their 20th year of award-winning recording and touring, the band’s rigorous path of independence continues, focusing on writing, producing and releasing new material directly to their fans for 2012. The Richmond, Virginia-based group began as an independent act in 1992, later signing on with Vanguard Records for a three-album stint in 2004. Along the way, Carbon Leaf scored hit singles at both AAA and Hot AC Radio with "Life Less Ordinary" and "The Boxer," placed first in the International Songwriting Competition, won an American Music Award, and recorded the music for Universal's Curious George II soundtrack in 2010. With 10 albums under their belt, Carbon Leaf continues to distill the essence of what truly matters most to them: A fierce DIY approach to making music and a direct connection and commitment to their fans.
