HARVEY BUILDING PRODUCTS TIPS ITS HAT TO VETERANS AND RAISES $30,000 TO BENEFIT HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS

Waltham-based Harvey Building Products and its Londonderry facility is proud to tip its collective hat to veterans by selling knit hats, then donating a check for 100 percent of the proceeds – over $30,000 -- to Taunton-based Homes For Our Troops (hfotusa.org), an organization Harvey Building Products has supported since 2009.

Employees and customers made monetary donations to the national organization during a three-week blitz in November throughout the manufacturing company’s 36 branches, facilities and corporate office locations. In return for donations of $10 or more, donors received a Harvey/HFOT knit winter hat. Harvey Building Products’ Hyannis branch was the top fundraiser, bringing in $3,400 through very generous customers eager to support Homes For Our Troops.
