State Rep Claims Boston Bombings a 'Staged' Black Ops Attack

There's growing dislike for Rep. Stella Tremblay's Facebook comment to Glenn Beck. NHGOP and NHDP alike denounced it Tuesday.

A three-term Republican state representative and homemaker from Auburn has drawn the red-hot ire of Republicans and Democrats alike for her comment on Glenn Beck's Facebook page that the Boston Marathon bombings were a "Black Ops terrorist attack" by the U.S. government.

Stella Tremblay commented: "The Boston Marathon was a Black Ops 'terrorist' attack. One suspect killed, the other one will be too before they even have a chance to speak. Drones and now "terrorist" attacks by our own Government. Sad day, but a "wake up" to all of us."

Harrell Kirstein, spokesman for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, called Tremblay an embarrassment to the New Hampshire House of Representatives, her constituents and the state. In a press release, Kirstein said, "How long will it take Republican U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte, Senate Republican Leader Jeb Bradley, and House Republican Leader Gene Chandler to condemn Representative Tremblay's vile and chilling comments? Tremblay's post is further proof of what can only be called an epidemic of disgusting and shockingly inappropriate behavior by members of the New Hampshire Republican Party."

Matthew Slater, executive director of the New Hampshire Republican Party, also wasted no time in denouncing the comment, which was posted to Beck's Facebook page on the Friday after the marathon bombings.

"It is hard to believe that just days after the cowardly acts of terror took place in our backyard that Representative Tremblay would thoroughly discredit herself with her bizarre, embarrassing and unfounded comments," Slater said. "New Hampshire Republicans strongly reject her outlandish views and believe that anybody who holds such bizarre beliefs should not be taken seriously."

House Republican Leader Gene Chandler also issued a statement today denouncing Tremblay's remarks as "highly offensive, egregious, and irrational.

"I am ashamed that Rep. Tremblay saw fit to disseminate radical conspiracy theories online," Chandler added. "She in no way represents the views of the caucus, the Republican party or the Granite State."

Messages seeking comment were left for Tremblay at her home and legislative email addresses, as well as voicemail. Tremblay represents Auburn, Chester and Sandown.

Mental Health Issues know no boundaries. Be it a Republican or a Democrat. She obviously needs help and someone needs to make sure she get's it. Maybe once this takes place she can return to be a productive member of society.

Is anyone else concerned by the number of state rep lunatics we have in office? Mental illness is right! I'm sure they will miss their cool little license plates and all but get the nutjobs OUT!

The fine citizens of New Hampshire deserve better representation than someone who follows and agrees with the fired loonie Glenn Beck. Get her off the front pages and let her melt into the stratosphere from whense she arrived here on earth. lnewhouse@aol.com

It is a sad day for NHGOP as they obviously need to distance themselves and condemn this type of comment. While the comment is outrageous, it is too bad that there exists so much mistrust of government that a person might actually believe that this could be true.
Rick April 24, 2013 at 01:45 AM
How many other GOP NH State Reps are worshipers of whacko Glenn Beck? Even Fox News got rid of him. Tremblay needs to join former Rep. Martin Hardy in resigning from the House. In case you forget, Hardy wanted to send the mentally ill to Siberia. Where do the Repubs get these losers???
ForThePeople April 24, 2013 at 02:09 AM
I'll tell you. They get paid $100 a year to go down to Concord once a week and push paper. It's a thankless job filled with the only people who have time for this crap: the rich, the retired, and the sponsored (by businesses). Go down the list and see how many of these folks own businesses that they are trying to legislate in favor of, or old retired folks, and the independently wealthy. And which party would that represent? It has nothing to do with what's best for New Hampshire's children, it's people, or anything of the sort. I suspect there are a couple representatives that do not fit that description and might be honorable, but that's the majority.

Can't be any worse than corrupt career politicians that other states are stuck with. At least the turnover can be quick and mostly without too long lasting effects of a bad group.

Do you all pay the $10.00 tax for the TSA that is levied on every single airline ticket sold sice 911? Do you expect to pay a head tax to the US Department of Homeland Security in the future, to "protect us" from fabricated boogiemen? I am estimating a $15.00 tax per event. Redistributing the wealth, so to speak. PS NH legislators do "get paid $100 a year to go down to Concord once a week and push paper. It's a thankless job filled with the only people who have time for this crap: the rich, the retired, and the sponsored (by businesses). Go down the list and see how many of these folks own businesses that they are trying to legislate in favor of, or old retired folks, and the independently wealthy." So thank you to any of the commenters here who have put themselves out there and compete for a position on the third largest legislative body in the world. and shame on the sheep & morons

These "losers" get into office because people vote for them. Voters really need to do more research on the candidates before going to the voting booth!

BEHIND THE OSTENSABLE GOVERNMENT SITS ENTHRONED AN INVISABLE GOVERNMENT OWING NO ALLEGIANCE AND ACKNOWLEDGING NO RESPONSABILITY TO THE PEOPLE...... Teddy Roosevelt Get a clue people she's right, your all just to scared of the truth... I would stand by this remarkable woman and here courageous words words any day.

But didn't it take about 12 minutes for CNN to say it was possible it was the doing of right wing Tea party extremeists? Just asking...
J Stubb April 24, 2013 at 07:05 PM
Her claims and her ability to look outside what is spoon fed to her and to all of us doesn't make the loss of life in Boston any less tragic. When will people realize that asking questions doesn't make someone crazy, stupid or insensitive? It makes them conscious.
Sam Parsing April 24, 2013 at 07:05 PM
OK, fine. But DEBKA, which is an off-shoot of Israeli intelligence, suggested that the two brothers may have been initially recruited by US intelligence. They then became double agents as their allegiance switched to extreme Islamist ideas. Debka is pretty informed. One caveat, though: As an intelligence off-shoot, Debka may also deliberately dispense dis-information when it suits them.
juanita aimes April 24, 2013 at 07:13 PM
I agree. It takes a lot of courage to speak out. Go Girl!! WAKE UP AMERICA!!
Margaret McGee April 24, 2013 at 07:23 PM
Well that is a broad and ignorant unwarranted comment. So in other words, if someone is conservative and a christian they are hate mongers? You have some serious bigotry problems. And you are aboua 200% iincorrect in this bs statement.
Margaret McGee April 24, 2013 at 07:24 PM
while I don't agree with this woman, hopefully no one in their right mind believes anything that is spoken on CNN
Adele Roberson April 24, 2013 at 08:34 PM
So many on this site excused her because "she was just asking a question". Does this sound to you like a "question"? Stella Tremblay commented: "The Boston Marathon was a Black Ops 'terrorist' attack. One suspect killed, the other one will be too before they even have a chance to speak. Drones and now "terrorist" attacks by our own Government. Sad day, but a "wake up" to all of us." This Black Ops thing is what was talked about six months ago when that moron Judge from Texas said he was raising money to gear up for when the Black Helicopers from the United Nations filled the sky above Texas. The Tea Party is BIG in Texas and there is always conversation down here telling farmers to hid their sheep, etc. The sky will be full of black. True crazy talk. Texas has a new Senator in Washington... Ted Cruz. When he was touring Texas for his run for the Texas US Sente he frequently talked about Black Ops and how Obama was going to turn this country over to the United Nations on December 31, 2013. Well, it never happened then but now the Tea Party says they were off by a year and this will happen December 31. 2014. Believe me, I live in Texas and we have so many kooks down in the entire South it is very disconcerting for the rest of us. They all love Jesus. I have even seen signs near Houston above massage parlors saying... COME IN, WE LOVE JESUS.
Adele Roberson April 24, 2013 at 08:39 PM
OK.. you say she is right. Now, some facts, we demand facts. You can list them one, two... send pictures. I am so tired of morons like you. WE WANT FACTS. NOW.
Adele Roberson April 24, 2013 at 09:31 PM
"It is hard to believe that just days after the cowardly acts of terror took place in our backyard that Representative Tremblay would thoroughly discredit herself with her bizarre, embarrassing and unfounded comments," Slater said. "New Hampshire Republicans strongly reject her outlandish views and believe that anybody who holds such bizarre beliefs should not be taken seriously............ Jeez, I hope she dosen't hurt someone. These crazies go on this way for years and then one day something sets them off and they do something horrific.
jeffrey orban April 25, 2013 at 12:54 PM
Adele Roberson... do you ever find yourself demanding such facts when it's someone with a badge or a government employee feeding it to you? It's likely you don't, and its likely you are in fear of anything that may go outside of what our schools or government have trained you to believe and defend. Follow the leader was fun in elementary school but when I got older I realized there is no law barring me from thinking for myself and asking questions ....YET! Much like the car you drive, the government would like to do everything for you when it says it's ok. I am open to present you with a slew of factual information that I personally have researched and dug up. If you'd like to have coffee on me and can take the time to open your ears and close your mouth, I'd be more than happy to successfully change your thinking. Anytime young lady, anytime.
jeffrey orban April 25, 2013 at 01:01 PM
Might I add, anything outside of the spoon fed bullshit that the news and government has told us. I'd be ever so willing to hear your thoughts and see the facts you follow. Understanding that the only available information you could possible provide would be direct quotes from none other than the people I question...Government officials! It might taste good Adele but it all smells like Shit
Ricardo Bauer April 26, 2013 at 01:18 PM
I'm with ana on this....the NH congressional scene is like Dr. Strangelove, One flew Over, and Hotel NH.
Rick April 26, 2013 at 01:25 PM
Wow, several Glenn Beck fans on here. Even Fox News dumped him for being beyond the pale....
Theodore M Fox April 26, 2013 at 01:57 PM
There is no difference between any news outlets. Anyone that attacks one news outlet or one of the political parties exposes themselves as the ill informed sheep that probably still gets exited watching pro wrestling. Ever wonder why these media outlets and parties always agree on endless military adventures, aid for Israel and anyone who questions the status quo of destroying our currency is somehow out of the mainstream or crazy. Germany was very happy with their leader in the 1930's until the violence started landing on their homes. I am a old conservative Republican and what scares me most now is that the liberal left now quietly says nothing and waves the flag blindly just like Fox News viewers. No one is questioning our self destructive path in this country but the "crazies". I believe the crazies will be proven to be the sane ones...but our decline will be to severe to right again.
