Christine A. Sheridan, 82, of Derry, NH passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 16, 1931 in Hastings, NE, the youngest child of Floyd and Christine (Triska) DeWitt. Mrs. Sheridan worked as a Nurse at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester for many years, retiring in 1989. She was very active at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry and involved in many facets of the church.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen, Michael, Lawrence, Thomas, Joseph, and Mary, as well as their spouses; along with nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence E. Sheridan in 1990, as well as all ten of her siblings, Robert, Max, Mark, John, Michael, Billy, James, Ruth, Jody, and Mary.
Calling hours will be Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 4 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry NH. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 16th at 10:00am in the St. Thomas Aquinas Center, 3 Moody Street, Derry. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
