Longtime Londonderry Resident Dies at 54

Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Proulx, 54 of Londonderry, NH died Thursday July 11, 2013, at the Community Hospice House of Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 14, 1958 in Greenfield, MA, and was the son of Lawrence M.E. Proulx and Amelia M. (Bergeron) Poirier. Jeff was raised and educated in Greenfield, and received a Bachelor’s degree from St. Anselm’s College in 1981. He had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 20 years.

Jeff was a longtime employee of Northeast Retirement Services of Woburn, as the Chief Information Officer, and was previously with Savings Bank Life Insurance Co. for many years. He was a longtime Red Sox and Patriots fan, an 18 year member of the Londonderry men’s recreational softball league, enjoyed golf, and cherished his time with his family.

Members of the family include his beloved wife of 27 years, Nancy (Dineen) Proulx of Londonderry, his mother Amelia M. Poirier of Greenfield, MA, his son Jason Proulx and daughter, Melissa Proulx, both of Londonderry, two brothers-in-law, Joseph Dineen and his wife Joann of Milford, MA, and Michael Dineen and his wife Peggy, of Amherst, NH., a niece, Kate Boucher and nephews, Patrick and Timothy Dineen, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Following cremation, a visitation will be held Monday July 22, 2013 from 1 - 5pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, and will conclude with a celebration of his life. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern NE Chapter, 114 Perimeter Road, Unit E., Nashua, NH 03063.
