Pinkerton Academy Senior's Funeral Set for Thursday

Marena “Jelly Bean” Maggio, 17, passed away on November 16th 2013 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 6th 1996, she is a daughter of Joseph J. Maggio, III and Deborah (Lockley) Crombie. Marena was a student at Pinkerton Academy Class of 2014. She enjoyed spending time with her sister and her many, many friends. Marena had the kindest of souls and warmest of hearts, selfless in every essence of the word.

She is survived by her father Joseph, her mother, Deborah, her sister Nichole Maggio; her paternal grandparents, Joseph J. and Jeanne Maggio. Also survived by her uncle, John Maggio; her aunt, Denise Wilkes; and many cousins and friends. Notably, Marena embraced Kristina and Breana into her heart as sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 20th from 4-8pm at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services are to follow the next day.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Marena may be made to the American Asthma Foundation, Research Program.
