Daughter Stabs Dad After Argument Over Big Dipper's Location

A Londonderry woman allegedly stabbed her father in the chest after a Christmas Eve argument over the location of the Big Dipper.
Nadja Svenson, 22, of Old Nashua Road, Londonderry was charged with second degree assault after police responded to her home at 11:22 p.m. on Dec. 24, according to the Londonderry Police log. Bail was set at $5,000 cash, and she was scheduled to appear in Derry District Court on Thursday morning.
The police log says that an argument between Svenson and her father escalated until she stabbed him in the chest. The father's injuries were not life threatening.
The Union Leader reported that the argument started when Svenson and her father were outside stargazing and began arguing about the location of the Big Dipper and other constellations.
