Gas Leak at Burger King

Firefighters evacuated the Nashua Road fast-food restaurant Sunday after getting high readings.

The Burger King on Nashua Road was temporarily evacuated on Sunday after fire crews discovered elevated readings of gas inside.

The initial call came in around 5:30 p.m. Sunday for a propane leak at the Burger King at 62 Nashua Road, according to emergency radio broadcasts. Elevated gas readings were reportedly found in the basement, and the building was evacuated.

By 7 p.m., firefighters were able to ventilate the building and readings were returned to normal.
