Londonderry Home Ransacked, Robbed at Gunpoint

The suspects appear to have fled the scene on foot.

Three burglars reportedly ransacked and burglarized a Londonderry home at gunpoint on Thursday night.

Around 9:15 p.m., Londonderry Police responded to 26 Beacon St. for a report of a home invasion. According to the police log, a resident of the home called police and said she was sleeping when she was awakened by family members who told her that three men were just in the house and had ransacked the house and stole an unknown amount of cash, the house phone, a cell phone and the keys to the caller's car. One man reportedly brandished a black pistol, and the men reportedly asked for the homeowner by name.

The men were reportedly wearing dark clothing and gloves, with bandanas over their faces, but the caller told police one man did not have a mask on. The subject with the weapon was described as 5'11", medium build, clean shaven, with slicked back hair.

Police said no one was injured and minimal property was damaged.

The suspects are believed to have fled the scene on foot. Police said the event remains under investigation and it appears the incident was an isolated occurrence, as the victim was known by the suspects.

One person, Juan Orlanzzini, 27, of 8 Tozer Road, Apt. #33, Beverly, MA, was arrested at the scene on an outstanding warrant, but police said he was not involved with the crime.
