Squirrels Continue to Harass Homeowner

A King Henry Drive resident continues to be plagued by the animals.

They're baaack.

A King Henry Drive homeowner called police around 7 p.m. on Monday to report that a squirrel was in the house – again. The homeowner said he couldn't hear or see the animal, but returned home to find his fireplace screen knocked down, and wanted an officer to come to the house and look for it.

The squirrel was ultimately cornered in a room inside the residence and the homeowner was able to contact a pest control company, the police log said.

Back on Nov. 12, police were called twice in the same day for a report of squirrels in the same house on King Henry Drive. The initial call was for an angry squirrel. The animal left the residence, but then returned that night while a babysitter was at the house and got under a couch before finally being removed.

No word on whether it was the same squirrel this time, or just a friend...
