CONCORD, NH -- State Rep. Stella Tremblay (R-Auburn), in speaking with reporters April 24, stood by her Facebook comment to Glenn Beck that the Boston Marathon bombings were part of a "Black Ops terrorist attack" possibly orchestrated by secret U.S. government agents. She said Americans, and the press, should do more digging and demand answers.
Tremblay's legislative colleagues, Republicans and Democrats alike, condemned her comment to Beck. House Republican Leader Gene Chandler (R-Bartlett) called it "shameful," and in no way representative of the House and the state.
Asked what she had to say about Chandler's statement, Tremblay said, "What am I going to apologize for, asking questions?"
