The annual Veterans Day observance will take place in Londonderry on Nov. 10, with a short ceremony to follow a parade on Mammoth Road.
The parade will start at the usual time of 10 a.m. and will likely conclude around 11 a.m. at the Town Common.
Involved in the event, which is hosted each year by American Legion Post 27, are the Londonderry Police and Fire Departments, Londonderry High School Marching Lancers and Color Guard, veterans, state representatives and boy/girl scouts.
Band members are expected to report to the parade area at 9 a.m., and the road will be closed down for the duration.
All schools in the district will be closed to observe the holiday on Monday, as well as the YMCA of Greater Londonderry. Town hall will also be closed.
The Aviation Museum of New Hamphire, located on Navigator Road, will also observe Veterans Day with a special event.
A tribute to Joseph McConnell, a native of Dover, N.H. and a Korean War pilot, will begin at 11 a.m.
