Lancers Lowdown: Five LHS Teams Have Title Hopes
Five of Londonderry's seven spring sports teams are playing this week, four in postseason action.
With the NHIAA postseason in full swing, Londonderry High School, as usual, has placed many of its teams in playoff tournaments.
Though both the boys and girls tennis teams fell in the state semifinals, each to Bedford, the remaining five spring squads are still alive, some battling deep into their respective postseason brackets.

Girls Lacrosse
The third-seeded Londonderry Lady Lancers earned a 17-12 victory over No. 6 Hollis-Brookline in the opening round of the Division I girls lacrosse tournament Wednesday. LHS is now slated to take the short trek to Southern New Hampshire University to face second-seeded Pinkerton Academy in the state semifinals at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 1.
Boys Volleyball
The Londonderry boys volleyball team also garnered a Wednesday victory, defeating rival Pinkerton Academy, 3-2 ,in its second to last regular season contest. The 13-2 Lancers, currently ranked third in the state, have an opportunity to snatch the playoff No. 2 seed with a Friday win at 6-9 Coe-Brown Northwood.

4 p.m. - No. 1 Londonderry Baseball vs. No. 16 Nashua South
4 p.m. - No. 9 Londonderry Softball at No. 8 Alvirne
6:30 p.m. - No. 6 Londonderry Boys Lacrosse vs. No. 3 Hanover
