5 Fun Things to Do in NH This Weekend

There are plenty of offerings across the state.

Each week, we'll scour local event calendars in an attempt to bring you five fun things to do in New Hampshire:

1. 
Mount Washington Snowkite FestivalUp for a drive? A unique event is being held on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center. The 2nd annual Mount Washington Snowkite Festival features snowkiting, where athletes ride up hills, over terrain, obstacle markers and fly off hills!

2. Psychic Fair in Nashua:
The 4th annual Psychic Fair at the Hunt will be held on Sunday, March 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hunt Memorial Building at 6 Main St. There will be tarot card readers, mediums and more, plus jewelry, musical instruments and other merchandise for sale. Sponsored by City Arts Nashua.

3. CHaD Battle of the Badges
Police and firefighters from across New Hampshire will take to the ice for the 7th annual CHaD Battle of the Badges Hockey Championship at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester on Saturday, March 1 at 5 p.m. to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock

4. Paula Poundstone at The Music Hall:
The legendary comedian will perform at The Music Hall in Portsmouth on Saturday, March 1 at 8 p.m. Poundstone's ability to create humor on the spot is legendary. Whether she’s talking about politics or being a single working mom with three kids, her quirky observations and timing have earned her the reputation of being one of the best comics working today.

5. 
Portsmouth Beer Week Continues: The 5th annual Portsmouth Beer Week continues through Monday, March 3, including a showing of the movie "Beer Hunter" on Friday, Feb. 28 at The Music Hall. For a full schedule, click here.
